"Ding" is the debut album of Zen Lu. In this album, as ambitious as Zen Lu might be, he is still cautious towards extending his senses into the dimensions of sound. The result of his reservation can be seen in the introverted and delicate quality of his music. He merely transforms his inner turmoil into a cyclical Loop, as well as turning modern anxieties into “burning fuel” to dissolve. Wang Wei, a poet from the Tang dynasty China, was renowned for his picturesque poetry, and Zen Lu's music takes the same approach by using cut-and-paste sound to build up different kinds of unusual and spectacular sights.
